Lois Carolyn Bass Hiscock, 76, died at Florida Hospital Deland on Friday, December 19, 2014 after an extended illness.

Born in Naylor, Georgia, she was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Welaka-Georgetown area before moving to Seville fifteen years ago. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seville. As one son in law stated, "You always knew where you stood with her, she wasn't afraid to tell it like it was....but in a good way."

She is survived by her husband, Dan Hiscock of Seville, Sons, Russell (Trish) Hiscock of Palatka, Neal (Tori) Hiscock of Orlando; Daughters, Gloria Middleton of Seville, Susan (Kevin) Van Atta of Orange City and Charlotte (Matt) Hess of Fairfield, Connecticut; Sisters, Janet Gamble and Jenetha Sammartano both of Holly Hill and one brother, Kenneth Bass of Palatka; Fourteen Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Hiscock will be held at Biggs Memorial Chapel at the funeral home on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Seville with Reverend Nelson Bonilla officiating. Burial will follow in Seville Cemetery.
